Recently Matthew Rubino was asked by the Korakia Pensione Hotel in Palm Springs California to curate the music for the morning, afternoon and evening hours. Working closely with the property’s management, Matthew was able to further elevate the worldly infused atmosphere of what is already a true gem.
The Korakia Pensione is built around the idea of creating a Moroccan and Mediterranean environment…it’s a place where people go to truly get lost in deep relaxation and feel as if they are in another world.
With this soundtrack Matthew not only wanted to take into account the overall aesthetics but also the different periods of the day and evening. The mind set guests may have at 9am will be much different than by 6pm after relaxing in the pools or having had a spa treatment.
